Best Flannels for Winter

As December approaches on of my favorite outfit staples that I like to include and wear all the time is a nice thick flannel button down shirt. If you find a good one, these can be super warm but also very stylish and cozy when it’s snowing out or the wind is whipping at you as you’re trying to walk to class. So, I thought I would share some of my favorite places to buy flannels along with how to style them to add a little preppy flair to your outfit and wardrobe.

Looking for a fancy look for a date out, style your flannel with a J. Crew vest, skinny jeans with knee high socks and match Hunter boots {Hunter Green}

Feeling a little lazy but wanna look nice for class, a classic button up {Similar}, Patagonia vest and Vineyard Vines hat for bad hair days is perfect for any winter day for class, along with a monogram necklace and diamond earrings

This flannel is from L.L. Bean and it is super soft and cozy, pairs perfectly with a furry vest {similar}, a pair of jeans and bean boots.

Classy and casual for lunch out with the girls or running ernes around town, pair a flannel with a varsity sweater {similar}, skinny jeans, booties and a Tory Burch purse {similar}

Nothing quite says deck the halls like some Christmas colored flannels {similar}, dressing it up with a skit {similar & similar} and a cute gold belt and a pearl necklace for any Christmas party.

The best places I love to purchase flannels, is J. Crew and J. Crew Factory, Forever 21 {super cute} , Target has some good ones also {obsessed with this navy & red one}, along with Patagonia has a couple that are great for hiking, and they have matching colored vests.

As a college student living in Pittsburgh I think it would be easy to say that it is impossible to have to many flannels and my collection of flannels continues to grow.
